Cooling and Protecting Yourself

Cooling and Protecting Yourself

Have you ever felt overheated – physically or emotionally? Both feelings can be easily resolved with a powerful breathing technique. Follow these steps and practice this simple breath at any time, anywhere.

  1. Breathe through the mouth towards the back of the tongue, feeling the cool air on the back of the tongue and throat. It will feel like a gentle wind going over the back of the tongue.
  2. Exhale through the nose.
  3. Repeat as often as needed until you feel a shift.

This technique can be done in a very exaggerated way, with a long, deep breath. Alternatively, it can be done very subtly with the mouth only slightly open. In both practices, inhale through the mouth, exhale through the nose. On the inhale, feel the breath coming over the back of the tongue and then exhale equally through the nose.

This is a very powerful and practical breath technique that can change the whole structure of your cellular system over time, ultimately protecting you. It can also give you an immediate result – relief from fever, overwhelm, reactivity, and extreme heat.
